For those who think I am quick on the uptake …

I don’t know if I knew it before and forgot, but I always assumed Murphy in Robocop was named that way because of the long history of US policemen being of Irish descent. I am not sure that I *ever* made the Murphy’s Law connection before today.

This is worse than my failure to see the Doc House / Sherlock Holmes last name connection until years later.
