Guess who came as a freebie in a box I received containing those little rubber miniatures, bigfoot, a sasquatch, a yeti and a mothman?

This happy little derp dragon. I love it in spite of myself. It makes me think a little bit of a cringe version of figment from spaceship earth. I can’t help but laugh when I look at it, and it isnt just mocking. Look at that smile! That human-teeth in a reptile face! Those colors! I have had moods like this.

Swamp walk was cut short… I made it to the wetlands… Twice. I had to turn my loop around at the 3/4 point because someone one the street where I walk was having an outdoor picnic party with about 20 people (maybe a dozen children and about 10 adults in view) having a good old time splashing and running around, drinking, generally socializing and apparently ignoring the fact that there is a seriously contagious disease happening to the planet right now. No masks in sight. As soon as I realized what was up, I did an about face and headed home. I really hope that those folks don’t hurt anyone as a result of carelessness or idiocy.
I saw an old couple on the porch of one of the nearby homes that have a Confederate flag on the pole out front. (Three houses on the loop have that loathesome decor, sadly.) Non-vulgar creatures spotted were several turkey vultures, a grey and white cat, a grumpy little yard dog, 3 squirrels, and something splashing in the water… Turtle or fish likely.
