Grapevines planted in the back yard today. Two green (white) and two purple.

We used to have a big garden back there with cucumbers, zucchini, lettuce and more years ago, and it will be nice to have some edibles out there again, next to our only remaining goodie, a cute little asparagus fern.

Swamp walk was lovely weather-wise, found a little side path that added a little to my loop, but had to stop short of my normal walk because the old lower back was kicking up. Sciatica up and down both legs made for a curtailed hike. That side path had quite a few small birds, zebra finches, I think. A couple of squirrels, but no albinos. A couple of frogs were in the water’s edge, enjoying the sunny spots while I stuck to the shade.
