Before they got a steady gig in Superboy’s magazine in 1973, DC put them in a reprint title for several issues. I love Nick Cardy’s interpretation of Curt Swan’s original. Ultra Boy’s legs protruding from the broken hole in the pavement on both covers is, I believe, unintentionally hilarious. Adventure Comics #328, Jan 1965. Cover by Curt Swan and George Klein.
